Jalapeño hot pepper seeds will bring the hot, fruity flavours of Mexico to your kitchen! Grow them in a container on your windowsill or balcony. The Jalapeño is also known as chile gordo, which means fat chilli pepper – due to its short squat appearance. Although they are usually eaten at the green stage, either fresh or pickled, the fruits ripen to red when they become much sweeter.

Packet includes 35 seeds. Plants grow to 70cm tall and 35cm wide.

How to grow Jalapeño Hot Peppers

• Sow indoors from Feb-Mar and outdoors from May-Jun
• Germinating time 15-30 days.
• Harvest in 90-120 days.
• Keep in full sun, in well-drained soil.
• Water moderately.
