Mrs Burns lemon basil seeds have gathered a cult following among cooks, who have been growing the specific variety of basil for nearly 100 years. It was organic gardener Janet Burns who first categorised the variety.
The leaves have wonderful sherbet lemon aroma which works well in both sweet and savoury dishes. Try it in a mint and basil ice cream, or use it in baking for something a little different.
Packet includes 60 seeds. Plants grow to 40-60cm tall and 20-40cm wide.
