A rug is a great way to define a space and through colour and create a sense of coherence between the furniture and accessories in a room. In dusty, earthy colours and with asymmetrically placed fringes, the Kelim Rug redefines traditional kelim craftsmanship and combines it with a strong sense for geometric and organic shapes as well as extraordinary colour blocking.
ferm Living's Kelim Rugs are hand-made which is why the weaving from rug to rug may differ slightly. The weaving technique is 'Punja' loom – a traditional and manual loom and one of the oldest weaving techniques. Also, the wool yarn is hand-dyed, and some shade variation may occur due to the nature of wool and dye. The Kelim weave and the wool yarns have a unique, coarse feel. This is part of the characteristic of the traditional kelim rugs.

When can I expect my custom order to arrive in store?
- We do not keep all sizes of this rug as a stock item, there is a 6-8 week lead time to custom order them but this may differ depending on stock availability. Once the order is placed we can advise you the exact ETA.
