Storage

• Store your decorative pillar candle in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Natural waxes are sensitive to temperature fluctuations, so keeping your candle out of extreme conditions helps maintain its structure and appearance.

How To Use & How To Prolong Candle Life 

• Mamo's pillar candles are primarily intended for decorative use. However, if you choose to burn them, please take extra care to ensure safety:
  • Placement: Place your candles on a heat-resistant, level surface, away from draughts, children, and pets. Please use a tray or dish to catch the melting wax.
  • Trim the Wick: Trim the wick before each burn to about 5mm to prevent excessive soot and ensure an even burn.
  • Burn Time: On the first burn, allow the entire surface to melt evenly to prevent tunnelling. Burn for up to 4 hours at a time. Extinguish and allow to cool before relighting to prolong the candle's life.
  • Extinguishing: Please use a snuffer to extinguish. 
  • Post-Care: Keep the wax pool free of debris.
• Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use. For the first burn, allow the candle to burn for 1 hour only. This ensures even burning in future uses. Avoid drafts while burning to prevent uneven burns or excessive flickering. 
• Because of the natural ingredients, the colour and scent of your candle may fade over time. We recommend using your candle within 6 months of purchase for the best appearance and fragrance.
